The Samsung Galaxy M31s 6GB+128GB model was available on Amazon India at Rs 19,499 and Samsung’s official store for Rs 20,499, whereas the 8GB+128GB model was priced at Rs 21,499 on Amazon India and Rs 22,499 on the Samsung official store at launch. The international price was about $433, varying by region.

The Galaxy M31s is an older model that has been discontinued, and is now being tracked well discounted from the launch price on Indian price-tracking sites with listings available around Rs 11,999 via resellers and marketplaces like Flipkart as of early-to-mid 2026. The actual price will depend on seller, condition and locality and potential buyers should check current listings prior to any purchases.

Design and Build Quality

Galaxy M31s has a plastic back that is finished with a gradient pattern, and it has a rectangular camera module. It measures 159.3 x 74.4 x 9.3 mm and weighs 203 grams. The front has a punch-hole Infinity-O cut-out for the selfie camera, and the display is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Fingerprint reader is not located under the display, but on the side power key.

The Galaxy M31s uses a quad-camera setup on the back, led by a 64MP f/1.8 primary sensor (Sony IMX682) with PDAF, joined by a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera with a 123-degree field of view, a 5MP f/2.4 macro camera, and a 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor for portrait shots. This is an upgrade over the Galaxy M31’s 8MP ultra-wide lens, though the depth sensor functions purely as a portrait aid rather than an independent shooting camera.

The main 64MP sensor produces detailed, well-exposed daytime shots with fairly accurate colours, and its full-resolution 64MP mode retains notably more fine detail than the default 16MP pixel-binned output. The 12MP ultra-wide camera, however, tends to produce softer, less detailed images even at the centre of the frame. Rear video tops out at 4K at 30fps with gyro-based electronic image stabilisation. Up front, a 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera handles portraits and video calls, also supporting 4K recording.

The Galaxy M31s’ defining characteristic is a 6,000mAh Li-Po battery that will easily last you more than a day of video streaming, browsing and calls. The Galaxy M31s is home to a Scene Optimizer that uses AI on-device to detect food, portrait, sky and greenery subjects, and automatically optimizes the colour and exposure settings for each in the camera app. The camera system also has AI-assisted portrait blur with the dedicated depth sensor and Live Focus video that blurs the background when taking photos.

Galaxy M31s’ 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen delivers vibrant colours and deep blacks, and it features a single bottom-firing loudspeaker instead of a stereo speaker configuration.
